Austin Peay State University is located on an urban campus.
The University began as Austin Peay Normal School when it was created
as a two-year junior college and teacher-training institution
by Act of the General Assembly of 1927 and named in honor of
Governor Austin Peay, a Clarksville native.
By Act of the Tennessee Legislature of February 4, 1943,
the name of the school was changed to Austin Peay State College
T he State Board of Education conferred university status on the College,
effective September 1, 1967

on Wilma Rudolph Blvd just after you exit I-24, plus
a Whitt's BBQ on the right a bit towards town)

A few miles west on exit 11 is the New China Buffet & Grill

You can get to APSU by going up Hwy 41 from the Center.

There is a concession stand at the ball park
and spots for lawn chairs

The Food Court offers a great variety of options including
Bene Pizza & Pasta, Montague’s Deli, Chick-fil-A,
Salad Garden salads, and delicious snacks.
In addition, a widevariety of fountain drinks,
bottled drinks, and coffee are also available.

Sunday 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The Café is an all-you-can-eat facility.
Choose among home style entrées and steamed vegetables,
sizzling hamburgers, hearty soups, fresh and healthy salads,
and home baked desserts.
Lunch Monday - Friday 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Lite Lunch Monday - Friday 2 - 4:30 p.m.
Dinner Monday - Thursday 4:30 - 7 p.m.
Dinner Friday - Sunday 4:30 - 6 p.m.

Take I24 W to Clarksville
Take Exit 4 (US79) (SR-13)
Turn left onto US 79 (Wilma Rudolph Blvd)
Wilma Rudolph Blvd becomes College Street
APSU will be on the right
Turn right on Drane Street, past main campus entrance
Field will be on your left
